Tell me /yume/, do you dream in black and white or colour and what is your opinion on this matter
Honestly, I can't even IMAGINE what it would be like to dream in black and white. Do people really dream like that? It sounds insane to me. It's always lifelike color. Although I do remember one specific dream where there was color, but everything was a bit faded and dull bluish looking.
i've never had a monochrome dream, and i have yet to meet a person who actually has.
I always dream in colour although I once saw an open door and everything in it was like a black and white TV.A girl came through it and she was still in black and white and left through another door.
>>1327a quick search on google brings up people who claim that they have been dreaming in black and white all their lifethis is indeed confusing because everyone i ask in real life tells me they do remember coloursperhaps we all dream in colour but some often overlook it and forget once they wake up
I always dream in colour but lately I've had dreams where there is a blue-ish tint to them.
I've found some people that dreamt in black in white before. 2, in fact. My friend says that when she did, there were no sounds. And it was simple, like cells multiplying. Only they were rings. And then my dad, but that was a long time ago, back when movies were in black and white. He never dreams in monochromatic ways anymore. Last edited 11/06/25(Sat)19:52.

Once I fell into an abysmal pit and at the bottom everything was blue and grayish. But I've never seen black and wight.
My dreams always shift between a murky blue tint to regular shades of colour.
My dreams are always a little faded in color, but definitely color filled. I've never had a dream in black and white, at least, not one that I can remember.
I'm just a little intrigued by how many people mentioned the Blue-ish tint. Maybe THAT means something?
Some of my actions will trigger my vision to get tinted a certain colour.Once looking at my friends fishnets, as soon as I looked away, everything had a neon blue tint. I even tried this a few times in that dream because I though it was weird.Once turning on and off a radio caused my to see everything tinted red.
eh....i usually dream with full color n stuff, just sometimes i get a cool motion-blur, like in video games...
color :U
I remember having a dream in black and white but i'm not sure Do you thing it mean anything to have a dream in black and white?

I had a dream where from a door in my room that doesn't really exist, it was a door through time but everything was in black and white, like in old movies. There even was this girl that came through to escape from something in the past and she was still in black and white even though she was now in our colourful world.

Apparently black and white dreams are far more common for people who grew up with black and white TV.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/science-news/3353504/Black-and-white-TV-generation-have-monochrome-dreams.html

>>1424No. But yes from the trailer I saw, it's kind of like that. She came from a monochrome world (that was in like WW or WW2) to one filled with colour while she was still in black in white.
do you see when you dream? it seems like half of the time my brain just doesn't bother to imagine anything visual, or maybe i just don't remember it when i wake up. o___o
I've once dreamed in black and white. It was dark and stormy and my room was empty. I thought that I was about to have a nightmare so I tried killing myself within the dream by a car crash and jumping off buildings and neither of them worked.
My dreams are in full colour, sometimes even High definition.This is a problem when they're actually more like nightmares...This morning I was treated to 2.5 corpses, their red blood spilling onto the green grass under the overcast sky.;_;
