Does anyone know any bands that actually sound like the music in Yume Nikki? Electronic music, 8-bit artists, techno, whatever? I love the whole score of the game but I always wish the songs were longer and more involved. I'm not very well versed in ambient electronic, so can anyone help me?Pic unrelated, was the only picture file on my desktop.
I'm working on something that'll help you here. There are a few remix albums and a few single remixes, some good and some not so good.http://pl.ayli.st/JahveyHere's some.
Only the first one works on that playlist, just so y'know. Might just be me though. Last edited 10/10/17(Sun)15:56.

the intro to Passion Pit - Smile upon Me always reminded me of yume nikki somehow 0.o
Ulver? some of it is drone-ish. Especially "Silence Teaches You How To Sing", that has a YN vibe to it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_r9ROZT1irk&feature=related
A lot of Four Tet's songs remind me of Yume Nikki music to some degree.Their song Plastic People does a little bithttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GT_ABdbqrgmoreso the first 5 seconds than the rest of the song, though
