it's japanese. 91% of japanese youths are NEETs, so this is their life.
I wouldn't consider YN's fanbase huge. Cave Story imo has bigger, despite being inferior to YN.
Maybe not huge, but its definitely gotten a bigger fan base over in western countries recently.Kikiyama said himself in an email that he was surprised that anyone across seas new about it.
