I think these are very interesting, but I'm slightly put off by the presence of text. The great thing about Yume Nikki was that there was this enormous potential for the player's own interpretation for backstories, motives and symbolism. Here, we see only the artist's own feelings, which could have been avoided by omitting the type.

However, it still is a great set of digital images.

Well, the text could be, like you said, the player's interpretation of what Madotsuki is actually writing in her diary. It's just another way of looking at the story.

Also, to me, the text adds feeling that the images alone wouldn't be able to convey. The vocabulary is childlike, leading me to believe it could actually have been written by a crazy little girl.

I do see what you mean, though, the text doesn't leave much room for symbolism. But these are different, so I like them.

The text is redundant, it doesn't tell anything new that the picture didn't already say. The pictures are kind of hard to see too.

Still though, I like the effort. I'd like to see another, improved series.

I like these a lot actually, it's nice to see someone else's interpretation of the scenes in Yume Nikki. It's a very unique take on everything, from the comics I've read from you it seems she's actually the victim of some deadly flower (or metaphor for one), correct?

These comics are amazingly stylish. I like how the art flows smoothly along with the story when you scroll the pic down. But I find the contents themselves a bit too depressing. It kind of feels like... "forced drama", I guess? I tend to interpret YN in a less dark way.

Holy fucking shit. I am SO glad I decided to go through a few pages of /yn/ today.
