I was supposed to post last Monday, but I was kinda busy. You can expect a chapter this Monday, though.

Bumping because I can! I'm working on another chapter right now, planning to post it a bit earlier than normal because I skipped Monday's post.

So far the chapter seems fun, it's going to run into Madotsuki's dream world and Monoko. But before that, she's going to have to reach her. :P Something she thought about before falling asleep created Toriningen in her dreams to bar her path.

After this second half of my theories, I'm going to move onto my Toriningen and Poniko theories. Only a handful more chapters before this story comes to an end. I'm feeling the end total will probably be between 10-16.

Oh, also. I've been thinking about it for a while, but I decided to have two endings. You'll get to choose which you want, but I just felt there had to be two. :3

New chapter, chock full of new stuff. Was planning originally to get this up yesterday, but got busy and didn't have time to proofread until today. Oh well.

It got done and mostly on time so it's all good. :3 Enjoy, people.

Oh you guys. My tracker tells me that I'm getting at least 100~ or so readers between the different chapters. Is it that hard to post here anonymously with an opinion?

Eeeeearly update! See, I had a lot of spare time and I figured I'd work on a chapter. But instead of 'working' on it, I hit a patch of productivity and wrote a chapter, proofed it and posted it all in the same sitting.

Took me forever, but I got like 90% of Monday's chapter done today. I totally forgot about it and started writing other stuff and then realized it was Sunday, lol.

I'll finish, proof/edit and then post it tomorrow, sometime around 3-4 pm est odds are. (That's the good estimate, it may be later but it will be done tomorrow)

Well then! I posted an update last night, but it seems that my thread got moved and in the process, it exploded and ceased to exist. Thankfully Rozen restored it.

Anyways, lol. Like I said last time, this chapter has more depressing in it. Next chapter though will be more lighthearted. Also, we're coming onto the final stretch, since the story ends around chapters 11-13.

I mean, WOW. I just finished reading this fic, and it is AMAZING! Usually I hate when someone just push their OCs in the story, but you executed it quite nicely. I felt the dream sequences could've been a bit more subtle, but that was really the only thing that I didn't like. I don't know why, but I especially love the ending (which I will refrain from going in depth about to avoid ruining the story for anyone else planning on reading it).

Small update bump! Outlining the next chapter, should be fairly interesting. Slight spoilers to the chapter's content next paragraph, so feel free to stop reading here if you'd like to keep the rest a surprise. :3

Gentle hint at the flute effect and tying Masada into the storyline. The end will be a bit depressing for how lighthearted Madotsuki's dreams end up, mainly because Makoto is still a bit angry at her.

Due to unforeseen consequences (and dix) I cannot finish the chapter I'm on this weekend, so no post tomorrow. :C Sorry guys. I haven't had any motivation and I also have to go to bed at a fairly reasonable time so I can wake up early tomorrow for foundation work.

Heh, sorry. I've been working so hard on my actual novel Papercraft that I've sort of been neglecting this story.

I'm working on a chapter as I type this, I was actually going to bump and let anyone who'd want to know that I am still alive and writing, lol. I laughed when I saw it on the front page.

I'm not entirely sure where this chapter will be going, but it'll probably be heading face-first into another painful dream/memory. I just have to formulate how it'll unfold...

The chapter will probably be up somewhat late tonight, but it'll be done for sure.

Notice: This is the last chapter of the storyline, I decided. After this one goes up, I'm going to start working on the two endings; GOOD END and BAD END. The choice of which you will read is up to you. They'll both be written and posted at the same so you'll get the choice of which to read.

Also note; since this is the last chapter of the main storyline, it's going to be long. Like 7-10k words. Meaning it'll take a long time. Probably be up around midnight EST or later.

That was a very fun chapter to write. It sits at around 7.5k words and it ties up the last of the main storyline. All that's left is the BAD END and GOOD END aspects of the story, the endings.

This story is almost done and it's been a good ride. I hope you guys have been enjoying reading as much as I have been writing this. Also, a little bit of warning. This chapter is slightly NSFW. It gets... uh, dirty at one point. All for the sake of story, comrades.

Well, I wrote the bad end first and then the good end. Since the bad end was a little longer, I felt like I put too much effort on that one, but I felt I did better on the good end. :V WHO KNOWS. I've been moving all over the place and am about to get my own swanky apartment near where I'm currently working. Once I get settled in, I'll get some delicious writing to you folks. Until then, I'll be somewhat MIA. I'll keep you updated here.

How to read this fic LIKE A BOSS... if by A BOSS you mean me:

1. Skip to penultimate chapter, dismiss as [nospoiler]-as-drama darkfic
2. Rediscover fic months later, read from beginning this time, grudgingly push through overly wordy early chapters
3. Notice clever use of Ghost Forest's BGM, continue noting nifty explanations/rationalizations of other game elements/settings/characters, begin to connect with fic's visual descriptions, forgive overly wordy early chapters
4. Scoff/sigh at main character's helplessness and escapism, uncomfortably admit certain personal similarities with said character, gradually succumb to mild recurrence of depression, stay up all damn night reading
5. Read GOOD END, reflect on weakness and personally undervalued endurance, cry even if it's a bit saccharine, finish GOOD END, don't even bother with BAD END
