So, I don't really know where to put this, but feel free to move it to which board it's more suited too.

Let's have some movies that Yume Nikki fans would like. Here's some that I can think of:

The Machinist
Jacob's Ladder
Spider
Session 9
Donnie Darko
Silent Hill
The Lovely Bones

Any more?

OP here. How could I forget Alice in Wonderland? Both the cartoon and the movie about to come out.

Narnia may also be one worth watching.

Pic isn't Alice, but I found it quite similar.

Flatliners is sort of related. Good movie.

A good lot of Tim Burton's movies are related here: Nightmare Before Christmas being one, there's even a fucking nexus that goes off into different "holiday" worlds, awesome shit.

Tim Burton, of course :) though I prefer the Corpse Bride over TNBC.
Also, I find both Victor and Edward Scissorhands to be super moe in a Masada sort of way. Or the other way around, whatever xD

I'm planning to see Corpse Bride, I hear it's incredible. Didn't hear much about it until now. Planning to watch Beetlejuice, too.

Out of curiosity, how many people here have seen Tim Burton's museum exhibit?

Whoever said Svankmajer, I love you forever.

FAUUUUUST HNNNNNGH
In my opinion, Svankmajer is a much better companion to Yume Nikki than Tim Burton

Kirikou and the Sorceress (Kirikou et la sorciere). Amazing animated film, and the style/aesthetics remind me of Yume Nikki... Or rather, Yume Nikki reminds me of this film. It made a very strong impression on me as a child, I watched it again recently and I still love it. I highly recommend this film! :D

Kirikou and the Sorceress was pretty badass I loved it.

Anyway, did anyone mention Son of the White Mare? It's surreal and actually very entertaining. Though there's tits and some balls in it, but holy shit symbolism to the extreme~

I'm going to state the obvious and say The Wall music videos and Mirror Mask.
