Post the some of the most unsettling part's of the game, then the reason.

The reason for these guys: They look so helpless and confused, like they want to die, but they cant.

Reminds me of a poor African child.

Back on topic now.

>>2210
There's actually four of those... the other two have no arms, The eye sockets are dripping blood, there are eye balls on the ground as if they had been gouged out, and is blood pools all over the place.

Also they sorta look like uboa.

'sokay. :3

The Eyeball World was the first place I explored in Yume Nikki, and since I had only seen Uboa before playing, I had no idea what else to expect.

After aimlessly wandering around the place, creeped out by the music (in fact, this music makes me more uneasy than most of the game's music) and body parts everywhere, I found the first pair of the creatures seen in >>2210 , and I thought they were cute. But when I saw the mutilated ones, it made me feel absolutely awful. It might've been just my softness for cute things, but.. ;A;

>> No.2573   [Delete]   [Edit]

the music in the numbers world.

Very unsettling for me since I got lost in there the first time I played Yume Nikki

Happened the first time I stabbed that Toriningen.
It was actually my first encounter with them, so you can imagine how freaked out I was, when she attacked me xD

hey guys, just downloaded the game a few weeks ago (actually because this board, along with unusual pictures of the 6 9 dude got me interested)and haven't gotten pretty far in it; last effect I got was cat I believe. I was watching game tips on youtube and decided to see the end, since I thought "oh, nothing that big could happen at the end, it's a pretty minimalistic game."
what are some good ways for overcoming the emotional impact of the end and just go on to play the rest of it?

>> No.2537   [Delete]   [Edit]

also I'd like to be excused for the embarrassingly ridiculous mark I've left on this board and contribute in more productive ways, like finding new Uboa images. so long

From now on we will always remember this "Anonymous" person for this embarrassing incident.

>> No.2539   [Delete]   [Edit]

don't worry, everyone was surprised when they saw the end
we bawwed a little
and then proceeded to fangirl over the whole game stripping it naked of all secrets and extra sprites in rpg maker, making all sorts of theories and drawing porn to fap to etc etc etc

I know the BGM for Yume Nikki isn't as complex as most games are, but some of them I do enjoy listening to.

The BGM for the Block Cave that leads to the White Desert, for example, is one of my favorite tunes of the game.

What say all of you, any of you have a favorite BGM?

Does anybody have the music that plays where you acquire the Demon spirit in that Egyptian area? It wasn't in the soundtrack when I downloaded it.

>> No.2494   [Delete]   [Edit]

I could listen to the BGM that plays inside the volcano on Mars.

It's so calming, and I wish I could find a longer loop of it.

< The one that plays in this area, I don't know what it's called, and the music in the refuge camp with the shadow people.

Also, underground Mars and teleport maze. I think those two areas are cool because you can "add" to the music yourself by poking the crying monster or stepping on the teleport buttons.

>> No.2545   [Delete]   [Edit]

In all honesty, while I do like the original music, I'm very fond of 24EFFECTS. White Pool being my favorite. =w=
