I don't know what board this goes on but I'll just post it on here anyway:

Once upon a time, I was in the sewers. I found a faceless ghost and he gave me some sort of power. I would have no face and I could spin my head around. I walked into a place in the sewers where there were pieces of paper inside dark windows with creepy creatures. I saw a dark monster on the other side, gladly he couldn't get me. He told me he wouldn't hurt me, but just to stay safe I didn't get near him. I walked into the next room and then there was a big red monster, I walked up to it. It told me to get inside it's mouth and it will take me somewhere safe from nasty bird people who will put me in a place I can't get out of. I listened to it and I was in a big strange place with a guy whos head spinned. I walked around some more and I ended up back with the nasty bird people.. I suddenly woken up from the bad dream. The end.

No file because all of my yume nikki pics are un-related and most of them have already been posted on here.

Is Yume Nikki playable with a controller?

>> No.3388   [Delete]   [Edit]

Anything is with the right tools.
I recommend just using glovepie to map the controller presses to keyboard presses.
http://sites.google.com/site/carlkenner/glovepie
I don't really think a controller is necessary to play this game, though. It's not really, um, demanding in terms of controls.

>> No.3568   [Delete]   [Edit]

Yup, I play with a controller just fine, with the exception of one button. I think it was the 1 button, which I have to press the one on the keyboard.

Hello, I was bored today and figured I'd make a quick hack that lets you change your coordinates so you can access places you couldn't before without using the RPG Maker 2003, as well as a speed increase function that lets you increase and decrease speed.

Now I'm not completely sure which version of 0.10 this goes to, but I just know that my Yumme Nikki is just an english translated version...

Copy and pasted from the included Readme.txt

BTorYume.dll for Yume Nikki V0.10

=============
HACK COMMAND INSTRUCTIONS
=============

"HOME key" - Move up
"End key" - Move Down

aw, I didn't know that. It's better to leave it as it is now then, since some people surely use numpad instead of arrows.

Btor-2kki for ゆめ2っき_Ver0.086c(Yume-2kki Ver0.086c) (Nevermind it seems to work for all versions)

Pretty much the same deal as BtorYume.dll
Except for Yume-2kki.

Changes:
-------
-Axis movement increased- (Was pretty slow before)
-------

Added:
-------
"NUMPAD 1 & 3" - Move Sprite Layer 1 (Moves the games first Sprite layer(?))
The 1 key being Decrease, and 3 being Increase.

Hey guys, not sure if this fits in here, but oh well.

Was checking out Kikiyamas homepage today. I tried translating the pages with the help of Google, was surprised to find something.

> There is no story or purpose. The game is just walking around.

Found here: http://www3.nns.ne.jp/pri/tk-mto/game1.html

Sooo. Yes.
Do you think Kikiyama was serious or is it some nifty red herring? :o

Actually... it wasn't meant for you to rage about, guys.
Just a little something to think about.

>> No.3302   [Delete]   [Edit]

You guys are really trusting google translator with a lot here.

>> No.3364   [Delete]   [Edit]

>>3302

Admit it. You just didn't know what to say.

>> No.3365   [Delete]   [Edit]

Even as a /t/ fag, I probably wouldn't doubt it if that is the case. Maybe Kikiyama just threw shit around as an artsy experiment or bored pastime and decided to release it for people to fuck around in.

What the hell? I've beaten the game four times and have never seen this...

>> No.3314   [Delete]   [Edit]

It's in one of the buildings in the area where you get the towel effect. Can't remember exactly which one (I seem to recall it being below and to the left, but the area does loop). It's somewhat dark inside, so you need the lamp (as the screenshot indicates).

>> No.3317   [Delete]   [Edit]

Exactly. When I first saw this pic, I was like: Huh-WHAT?

ever notice as soon as you see Madotsuki's ghost the word "die" appears?

if you sit back and stare at the screen while the paths are animated it becomes clearer.

>> No.279   [Delete]   [Edit]

Crap, I did not know that, thanks for pointing it out. It's a little creepy

>> No.3301   [Delete]   [Edit]

Creepy, indeed. I wonder if this was intentional or not.
