looking at that stuff, yes. I don't like how the characters are drawn. The backgrounds are cool, but the characters are too typically done. Especially Uboa being OMG BISHIIIIKAWAIII under a mask :/
A professional studio would be awesome, yes, but there are tons of pro studios that are artsy and have styles way more fitting. I think Studio 4C would be a good one. I like the style they used for Tekkonkinkreet. Since they have a lot of different talents at the studio they have many styles to work with.
I also think something like that would be nice, different styles in the same show. Like Waking Life, they used all sorts of different styles in that movie and because of that they really captured the feeling of dreams.
but yeah, using a typical MOE MOE DESU style like that, is kind of like if the studio that did sailor moon did Berserker and used the same style for sailor moon to do it.

I was playing NASU, thinking "is it even possible to get past 300 or so points in this game?" and all of a sudden, "BONUS 1000" appeared in red text, and my score suddenly rose (by 1000, duh). I SHAT BRIX. So, now my hi-score is 1420.

Has anyone else gotten this? I was actually playing it over and over non-stop just because I had nothing better to do, but holy shit, didn't see that coming. I didn't even get time to take a screenie of the actual event, it was just so quick.

yeah, apparenlty when you manage to catch one of those bouncing pinkish eggplants AND a normal one at the same time, you can get an extra 1000 pts.
It's hard to do though, you're either lucky or really good at NASU to manage to snatch both at the same time.

Our teacher had us design a country, so I of course made mine off Yume Nikki. He told us to design the cabinet of people we chose, so I chose various characters.

I named the place 'Nikkia' (Yea, it's lame) and I felt like posting my cabinet. Disregard this lame post if you want.

And what about incorporating the lightswitch into the game? The light switch is an integral part of Uboa's character.
I would think that it would be included into the game. Otherwise all you're playing is Toriningen Tag.

Assuming the game is being played inside, how about this:

At the start of the game, the lights are on. Whoever is going to be Uboa counts to (insert high enough number for everyone else to go and hide here) and then turns off the lights and begins to look for the others. If the lights are switched on by a player, whoever is Uboa becomes Poniko and is harmless (therefore, they cannot tag anyone). Poniko will need to turn off the lights in order to become Uboa again.

How about some kind of Mafia game... like the deception, hiding that you are the bad guy. Someone is uboa and if you turn off the light's when you're alone with him/her, you get killed... the uboa would have to kill everyone, or the others would figure out who is it and lynch him/her.

The problem is: where would the corpse go, and where would a living one go...
