If you have a Technical problem with the game
( Can't save, Weird Glitches, etc;)

Post here and someone who knows how to fix it will reply sooner or later.

Hey guys!
I'm kinda new here but I'm having a major issue with running YN.
Basically whenever I run it, the entire screen goes black. While my the laptop responds to hotkeys that increase and decrease brightness, it won't respond to trying to alt f4 or attempts to run task manager. It just stays black. Because of that I have to turn my computer off in order to get the black screen to stop.

When I first ran the program I got it to work, but not it doesn't at all. Maybe it's the incompatibility with windows 7? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated ;n;

FIRST POST IN UBOACHAN YAYAYAYAYAYAY[/lurkmoar] Yeah, after lurking so much, I've decided to post for once. And I can totally tell this'll be a bad idea, and I'll get flamed to hell and back and whatnot. ; A;

ON TO THE TOPIC AT HAND. I finished Yume Nikki today, at 4AM. I wanted to stall the ending, because it makes me sad, and decided to do something with the eggs that just made me think of Mado's mentality, and is cleverly something she says when you can't do something. (It says dare, btw, which I think is the one that means 'It's hopeless...' If not, well, I guess telling herself not to do what she's going to works just as well. :D)

So, ever stalled the game's end and gone creative with the egg placement, /yume/? Or just done something creative with the eggs overall? Btw, yes, I know I'm missing the flute egg. I forgot to drop it while making it. D:

I've completed the game and found Uboa, Monoko and Monoe, Kyukyu-kun and FACE, Masada, and the Toriningen party. I've seen other characters floating around the webz, so what else is there?

First pic: Look closely at the mousepads. Sabitsuki has always been left-handed since the first version of .flow, but her mousepad has always been on the right side. It was changed to stay consistent with Sabitsuki being left-handed. lol sure does pay close attention to detail.

Second pic: Sabitsuki's side sprites changed ever-so-slightly. There's an extra, miscolored pixel on what appears to be the collar of her shirt. Though barely visible, it's a different shade of gray than her shirt. In version 0.06, it was present on all her effect sprites. The pixel was removed from all of them in newer version however. (Her sitting down sprite shows it for a split second, though)

Edit: These two things are more "beta" than "unused". As in, the mousepad is still technically in the game, just moved to the other side, and the shirt thing is so trivial I don't know if it even counts, but oh well.

is there no bat urotsuki in the game? i found text for picking up the effect while making a menu translation a while ago so i'm pretty sure it's in there somewhere...

i played the oracle games and Link's awakening, there are hardly bombable walls that aren't marked with cracks.
There are a few ( let's say 3-4 ) bombable walls but they are placed obvious.

Hamsa/The Hand of Fatima is an image used as amulets for protection. its also known as the Hand of Miriam(sister of Moses) and the hand of mary.
