>>1589I dunno about anyone else who pronounces it like this, but... "Yoo-boa" is just tons easier to say, for me. I know how it's supposed to be pronounced, but I have trouble with "Oo-boa." D:

I pronounce it oo-bwah, after hearing LoudMan pronounce it that way in his LP. I thought that was the common way, but apparently not.
I don't think that it's something like "you-bow-ah".Well, I'm not american, my pronounce is different, something like oo-boh-ah.I'm brazilian, so I say something like that. D:Aqui a pronúncia é como nós escrevemos, então se eu escrevo "uboa", eu falo "u-bo-a". :3

OoooooooooBohaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Oooo (as in soup)Bohh (as in a bow for one's hair)And the long 'A' sound, (as in the sound that haunts so many nightmares [not to mention the noise that many people make upon finding him for the first time]: aaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~)
U"ooo" sound like saying like in "you") boa(like boa constrictor snake) But sometimes...I add a letter in my brain for some reason! I kept calling him "Udoba"(U-doh-ba) like that...for some reason that "d" wants to fit in my mind! haha)

U - as in überbo - as in bond (I guess)a - as in AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
If I had money I'd hire a choir to sing Uboa's name, with the "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" being a differnet note for each person singing.
I go by Japanese pronunciation because of the creator's nationality. Ooh-hard bo-ah. "Yoo" would butcher the word, from a moonspeak standpoint.

Either OObowa or You-bowa. I can't decide.

oo-Bow-a

ooh-bo(like bow, without the w) ah.That just makes sense in Hebrew punctioning. (I used to get english words wrong a lot for obvious reasons, but not japanese stuff)
If there's anyone here that speaks portuguese...I pronounce it like "boa" (as in "boa noite" or something) with a normal 'u'. It kinda sounds like "úbôa"
>>2005Oi, olha eu aqui. -qIt's hard to explain the pronounce... I'll try to record me saying "Uboa" on a video (I can't record only the sound, I'm poor okay...)

ubwwwwaaaaaahhh~
Actually, it's Ubwa. People spell it Uboa because they mistake the ァ at the end for an ア. An easy mistake to make considering that ボ and ァ never go together. But since other o-sounds followed by ァ add a wa sound to the consonant of the o-sound, it should be pronounced "Oo-bwa". Last edited 11/03/05(Sat)19:03.
