98983 No.751   [Delete]   [Edit

Because, especially after all these most recent updates, I'm starting to believe that we need one.
Here's my shabby edit of the docks map, which shows a way to get to the submarine (and the guys close to it who give you a wallpaper). There's also a very small map at >>750 that tells you how to get to the bear world.

By the way, I don't know how to extract maps from RPG Maker, so I used the power of IrfanView.

>> No.755   [Delete]   [Edit]

Ah yeah - forgot to mention that if I got it right, there's only a 1/8th chance you may enter the submarine. GOD DAMN IT.

>> No.770   [Delete]   [Edit]

Wait... it doesn't seem as bad as I had thought. The nearest event tiles to the sub (marked by little dots on the map) are what controls your ability to go inside it, and if I'm reading it right the 1/8 chance for it to open happens whenever you step on them.
Oh boy, I really hope it's that. I'd hate to have to wake up and go through the maze ALL OVER AGAIN every time I met a closed door.

>> No.771   [Delete]   [Edit]

you know there is a shorter route than the one outlined >>751

the route I am referring to takes a similar route as the one that leads to the bear portal and takes into account the wrapping effect of the map. If you take this route; it should take you by where vending machines are and from that point forward it is same path as the one outlined in the picture at the start of the thread.

>> No.796   [Delete]   [Edit]

Can someone explain to me how to get to the docks? I can't keep up with all these new maps.

>> No.797   [Delete]   [Edit]

Shortest way there:
Book in the nexus -> fifth book on the second row -> get out of that room -> go up on that map -> through the bottom door -> talk to the weird thing

>> No.803   [Delete]   [Edit]

book in the nexus?

>> No.805   [Delete]   [Edit]

When awake, go to Urotsuki's computer, choose Tools, TXT, and the first option. It should show up now.

Don't ask me, I have no idea of how to properly extract maps from RPG Maker.

>> No.965   [Delete]   [Edit]

I'd love a map of that "intestines-looking maze" place (it's all red and the walls are lumpy). I hate getting stuck there because I always end up using the eyeball-bomb because I can't find a way out. (if there is a way out..)

I took a peek into rpgmaker.

This is the 'intestines' maze. Note the e's are events. The cluster of E's on the topleft do nothing from what I see.

I'll take some more snaps of maps. I think this and the docks is it in terms of ridiculous mazes. Everything else just seems vast open areas.

This is Nail World (white). I keep missing everything by finding the hut first.

Again, E's are events/characters.

sorry if it's so far zoomed out. These are more for finding what goes where.

Don't be fooled by Onyx Tile world. There's nothing here but traps, a pointless color doohickey, and a taxi. The pink space is actually black.

The doohickey does change colors tho with the right conditions.

Ah, I see you have found "Vast Empty Concrete and Girder With Pointless Spinning Diamonds World".

All the events you see are just the diamonds themselves (who spin slightly faster with a certain effect) and 'warp from' points (the areas you get plopped down too from another map).

In other words, it's a dead-end, and I fell for it too.

>> No.995   [Delete]   [Edit]

Ah, I was afraid of that. No wonder I couldn't find a way out - there isn't one lol.

Ok thanks! Now instead of wandering in that place I'll just eyeball bomb right away to save some time xD

>> No.996   [Delete]   [Edit]

Actually, I recall that using the fairy effect made a certain one of the crystals flash and teleport you somewhere else upon examination. As far as I know, that's the only significant thing there. I can't recall where it brought you to, but it probably wasn't anywhere too special.

>> No.999   [Delete]   [Edit]

hm, I don't have the fairy effect yet. that's probably the switch that makes them spin, although the diamonds I looked into had empty coding..

ah, you're right. It's that one red diamond, and it takes you to.. ... the real concrete world it seems. No place special too. Just right out in the open.

But you could get there from someplace else easier.

This one?

This map is a little odd. The cluster of E's on the top are empty, but right below it does something (flicker?). There's also 3 warps, all from oddly looking lamps.

>> No.1039   [Delete]   [Edit]

Why are all the Lamps pinkish-purple anyway?
Even though that they're red in the game. ._.

>> No.1047   [Delete]   [Edit]

anyone have a map of the docks? the one where the submarine appears and has those... water... scarecrow things and the green-blue haired person (i think?) thanks in advance

>> No.1048   [Delete]   [Edit]

sorry, the entire map was actually pink in rpgmaker. I had to manually fill the floor with black, but left lamps pink. It's the same world, trust me.

although I haven't checked to see if there was another lamp world. hm.

Isn't the first map in this thread the docks?

Yay thank you! And I shall have to explore that "flickering E" area.

I'll let you know if I make more. Although some of these maps are incredibly cryptic. I can see where events are, but I have no idea what they do sometimes (since the events themselves are in Japanese).

You know those switch things in the beginning area? Apparently they change a "variable". What does that mean?

>> No.1195   [Delete]   [Edit]

I have no idea. This is just as vague as the tic-tac-toe room.

It seems to just change the variable to make the switch look different and nothing else. Can never tell if this game is goosing around..

>> No.1212   [Delete]   [Edit]

Those diamonds aren't pointless! They're the only way to get out of that area. Use the rainbow (I think) effect on them. They'll start changing colors rapidly, and they teleport you to Concrete World No. 1

>> No.1214   [Delete]   [Edit]

go to underwater world (the one in seizure wold, keep on going right, go into the carnival.

Find the stuff your self. It's more creepy that way.

>> No.1221   [Delete]   [Edit]

Better explanation than >>1218:
Marijuana goddess world -> left and up until the cat-shaped door -> right for the stage -> talk to the girl to be warped to the organ room -> scare the girl away with Boy effect -> go into room and touch the piano -> go up and into the passage while using the Fairy effect (Child effect might work too, but I haven't tested it) -> right until you get to the crowd, then right until you get there

How do you open the maps with rpg maker?

>> No.1464   [Delete]   [Edit]

You need Rpgmaker 2000 or 2003. Make sure you've already installed YN/Y2kki and it's rtp's.

when you 'Open Project', you select the folder ABOVE YN's/Y2kki so it'd recognize it.

If it works, you'll see it in the list and you can open it. You can't open individual maps separately, just the entire game project.
