This place. The first time I found it I kinda closed my game window in despair. I'm used to it now, but I found it very disturbing back then.
Also the name of the wallpaper is "inochi", that means "life". Kinda... meaningful.

What's it meant to be? Woman waits in a typical NHS clinic to see about the red marble she swallowed? HOW UNNERVING

I think what got me the most is this room is so serene. It's very easy to miss and look over.

Oh, this? I just use this room to troll my friends when I first show them the game (by giving them the headphones then cranking the volume up :P)

Who'd put this bollocks in their apartment anyway, I'm pretty sure the landlord would be pissed to find out one of the tenants has flooded their room and crapped in the resulting water. To make matters worse, the tentacles are back, and at £100 to call the exterminator, our heroine is left with some hard decisions.

i dont know about you guys but i find this room rather relaxing and reassuring...

I went there today and noticed that she squirts out blood every time she takes a step, and even more when you use the Bug effect and the baby gets bigger.

If I recall didn't either me or Sabitsuki name her Mamako? I think it was me.

I think it's relaxing in an eerie way. And when >>1520 pointed that out, I now realize what is floating in the water.

I discovered it while playing at a friend's house and I almost cried. To this day I have no idea what moved me so much.

THEORY TIME BITCHES
The woman is her mother that had a stillborn some time ago. After the baby's death she fell into a depression and ignored urotsuki entirely. Thats why she views the baby as a monster/parasite.

Sometimes I wonder if they throw in things like this just so that people will make up a million theories, when the actual reason for it existing is 'because it seems creepy'

I think that about a lot of things in YN, but for once I actually think this event/room has some type of symbolism. I'm not gonna go all /t/ on everyone in this thread, but I still have a few thoughts. Who knows, though, I could be completely wrong.
