Is there a collection of all the 2kki characters/creatures/etc organized by image and file name? Fan names would be acceptable too but it seems like there's a LOT of characters in 2kki and I haven't had a chance to see all of them. It's a bit harder to sift through a single section of the Chan to find ALL of the individual characters so, yadda yadda, basically saying:

POST PICTURES OF CHARACTERS IN YUME NIKKI AND LABEL THEM WITH THEIR OFFICIAL NAMES OR CLOSEST FAN NAME, PLEASE <3

Starting off with Aoshiru/Cripple-Tan 8U

Judging by the sound I prefer to think it's just a rather strange cat. Makes it easier to accept and he even looks, errr...petable.

I've read a few guides about getting to the Highway world. I am running version 94h. The Taxi doesn't take me anywhere. I go up to the sign and it makes a noise but that's it. If someone warps me there, the shadow women take me to a closed off room.

It's not as if having a driver's license disallows someone from taking a taxi cab.

I swear I hit every other place except the back of the cab.

Sorry for being so slow, but... I just noticed what all those numbers in the first person maze mean.

Something .94h related is on the uploader, I think... I'm no good at confirming things, but I sure hope this is something interesting.

Has anyone found any new locations for .94h, or is it mostly just mechanical stuff?

Remember the other exits? Well, they're now entrances.
The ones of easiest access, I believe, are from the park (go to the gallery, there are at least two or three ways there) and the bug world (hint: the mushroom world has a portal that leads there).

Thanks...I think that helps. I've only been playing for about a week, so I was relying pretty heavily on the blue hand hub.

Uhh. I'm very new to Yume 2kki. Went through the trouble of installing Virtual Machine for the first time to run it. I have a few questions about it.

a) Is there a list of controls for this game?
b) Is there an english patch anywhere?
c) Is it possible to enjoy and experience and understand the game without the translation? I downloaded the newest version.

Thank you, any help very much appreciated. ^^

Say, could you tell me how you managed to get it to run on a Mac? Like with detailed steps and all? I've got a friend who's really interested in playing the fangames (she played Yume Nikki when she had a PC for a brief time). We haven't been able to figure out how to get it to work. Much obliged!

I didn't really know what I was doing. I just installed virtual box. (Instructions should be on the site.) I ran the setup virtual machine wizard, and used an old Windows XP boot disk I had lying around. I think you can download boot disk .ISOs, and use a program to mount them if you don't have a CD yourself. I followed the instructions on this subboard on that sticky. I just googled for the programs (the links are dead) and found them pretty easily.

It actually isn't complicated.

Shore area as in with the wolf? that is the only shore I can think of besides the one with the big, creepy, realistic looking images.

>> No.2730   [Delete]   [Edit]

>>2725
Do you mean that area south of room you are transported to after interacting with the black grand piano?

>> No.2732   [Delete]   [Edit]

>>2726
>>2730
to answer bluntly, I mean the realistic shore line and yes you be needing the fairy effect and chainsaw to get to this. Unless you go by the blue teleportation maze or misty lake aka foggy dock maze. You can get here from the underwater area south of the piano if you find the exit near the bottom of the map. This takes to the other end of where you would normal enter the realistic shoreline and you need the penguin effect to go back to the underwater area. Hopefully this proves helpful.

So, sheep > chainsaw?
...what?

I've read the 2kki wiki lately and I wonder just what makes people think that the twin mountains symbolize Urotsuki's twin? Actually, are there any more hints in the game that make us think so?

>> No.2728   [Delete]   [Edit]

I don't get it, either. Maybe whoever came up with that theory also thought that the Urotsuki doppelgängers seen throughout game were an indication of her having a twin. I can't think of anything else at the moment.

Just installed the g version of the game, and an instant question - what the hell happened to the block world with door elevators where the spacesuit was located? Why there is all that space and floating fish? How do i get the spacesuit effect now?

>> No.2711   [Delete]   [Edit]

The spacesuit effect is there, dude. You just gotta look for it.

I'm not too sure, but I think there's something new up on the site... I'm awful at things, I know.

In the meantime, have a picture of the intergalactic space butts I found a while back.

Same here. I remember finding that place out when it was introduced, and after staying the grand total of one second in there, I woke up and decided to never go there again.

Ah, really? The last couple of times the room didn't do anything for me. I used Maiko as well to see if it did anything and nothing happened. I guess it's just random...or hates me lol.

The mask room appears to get different lighting randomly when you go there. No idea if there's anything special in it, but it's still cool.

Ah. I'll have to pay another visit to that place then :D
