Carefully, on a Japanese locale. Applocale is your friend.
Just remember to find something about the default location for your games on RPGM's configurations. Point it to the folder where there's a folder with Y2k inside.

Do they have this version in English yet? I have both an English version and a Japanese version downloaded, but it seems they're both the 86 version.

I have to say, I do like the redesign of the maze format (it looks a lot nicer and I don't have to switch back and forth as frequently), but it broke on me rather dramatically.

I wish they had expanded or added anything new to the place that the taxi in Dark World takes you. :\ It's being ignored in favor of introducing completely new areas or redesigning old ones that aren't even that novel or interesting in themselves...

The creator of the "Dark World" with the taxi (710-kun) is a different than the one who has designed the mazes (kuraud). From what I have noticed, 710-kun has been working on a few of his/her maps here an there; but, like you, I've been waiting for major changes that are accessible. kuraud has actually been working on a few other areas, too; I was hoping that these areas were readily accessible in this update... but, nooooo, they're not.

they moved the boy effect entirely into this area in the yellow maze. Also as a side note, when you sit down as a boy in the maze; the floating gray guys stop moving.

Eh... Could someone help me out with the "Yellow Maze" part? I can't get that boy effect out of there. Is there another way inside aside the "Geometry World" one?

EDIT: Aside from that, I can tell there is a new area within the "Garden" underneath Grey Road.

go south-east when you enter past the oval shaped thing, then through the door a little north-east of where that screenshot was taken, when you come out the other side go north-west-ish for a little while. i got pretty turned around after that so i can't help you from there, but there weren't many real branches after that.

Thanks. I've got a little screwed up by the way that area around the first door was wrapping up... Anyway, off the subterranean garden area, going down a gate, there's a purple field with floating stones. And a house with a girl holding something like an unplugged TV set from that place, past a creepy dark area seemed with an alley...

Found this in the library. Sure it is old, but can any of you actually understand and make complete sense of it? It seems... Well from what I understood, really disturbing. Sickening, even. It seems to involve guts, things being ripped from and inserted into the speaker's body... .-.

Is there something about a green crayon? Am I reading that correctly?

I think the unit for the squid is something that roughly translates into "round segments" or "round pieces" and 円 means round in this instance. My guess is that the recipe is calling for those rings that are formed from chopping up the body portion of the squid after the body has been skinned and cleaned out, and is stating this so that tentacles are not used in the recipe.--Then again, you seem to know more Japanese than me, so perhaps I'm completely wrong.

Ever notice something? That guy who sits in the theater on that armchair all day like a lazy tosser isn't (or wasn't as of recent versions) so lazy after all. He appears in Japan town as news man/king of pop (its literally a recolor with a newspaper pasted over it.) AND he appeared in the room next to the ant eater with a portal in its back (now removed I believe) AND he appeared in one version in a room near the laughing cone face guy before concrete world was demolished and replaced with flying fish. In all four he was always in a chair with that smug cross legged resting head on fist position going, and in all but one (when hes news man who is unkillable) if you chainsawed him he would watch you with his three red eyes from the corner of the screen when you reentered the room.

I think that at one point he was a planned villain or major character or something (like that guy "smile" who the .flow players have like 3 threads about already) then was scrapped and replaced with the clown army who are now the villains of 2kki (they appear in other dream worlds that dont match their theme to catch you.).

I feel the same way about him as you do. He never struck me as being malicious nor a friend. He's just keeping his eye on Urotsuki just because he can, not because he feels obligated to help her or himself.

Well whatever he is, hes technically immune (he re spawns in the corner) to the chainsaw. Which means in whatever "Canon" this game has
hes more powerful than a chaser (which the non hostile shadow witch proves are killable)

While were on the subject of chasers and scrapped villain, the robot that guards the fairy effect used to be a chaser himself back in the olden days.

So when you go to Urotsuki's video game system, there's the one game that has the preview pic of a girl in a school uniform. I don't know Japanese, so I have no clue what the text says before it starts, there are 3 rooms to explore, and when you talk to the mime(?) and quit, Urotsuki climbs out of her bed as if she was asleep.

Is there anything to this "game" (if you could call it that), or is it just a red herring?
