Pic related, it's what the thread is about. In the maze where you see a dungeon-explorer type display, it appears to be OMGNUMBERS. Anyone know what these mean? They're, going down, 15926 65358 97932

i have no clue since i have not player yume 2kki, but i just want to honestly see what people post so im send ing it to the top of the list X)

>> No.464   [Delete]   [Edit]

I've noticed that as well when I was going through the maps on RPGMaker, but I assumed that things aren't supposed to make any sense or bear any special meaning when you're asleep (especially numbers and letters), so I didn't care much about it.

Oh wow, this is the area where you get the Medamaudebomb effect!
Seeing a map of this place is seriously cool.

Can one of you /tkki/ers upload your version of 2kki? I've tried working my version, and it works to a certain point... but I can't go to Red Gear world or anything else like that. Included saves would be nice.

P.S. I've done everything correctly in the setup, it just doesn't like me.

N00b-ish question time!

Since this game updates fairly frequently, how does one update their version to the newest one without losing the progress they've already made? I'm not sure if you just do a copy/paste or something else, and I would rather wait to do it than do it now and possibly screw something up.

>> No.477   [Delete]   [Edit]
>without losing the progress they've already made?

Seeing how the game gives you a warning when you try to load an older save, I prefer starting from scratch after every update.

>> No.479   [Delete]   [Edit]

The programming doesn't function that way, unfortunately. Additionally, they're often removing or replacing effects with other ones that weren't present in previous versions, so even if you could load your inventory of effects, some might be missing or glitched.

>> No.480   [Delete]   [Edit]

Most of the time you can just copy the save with little problems. However you should start fresh every few updates.

Thanks for the info! Kinda sucks that we have to ditch our progress to get the newest updates, but it seems that it can't be helped. :\

This dude is cool. What's his name? I can't believe him and his area don't do anything...

He reminds me of Masada, with more or less derp, depending on how you look at it.

idk what to call him/her, but I want to draw him/her.

His arms(or lack thereof) make me think "haunter," like the pokemon. BUT THAT'D BE STRANGE.

>> No.474   [Delete]   [Edit]

>>462
That actually might be appropriate. I discovered that whenever you step into that little black circle he's standing in, he goes transparent, kinda like a ghost. No idea why, but since Haunter is a ghost, it kinda fits. XP

So, my game shuts off when I try to enter certain doors. Not just the ones pictured, but some of the doors within the worlds as well. It's really annoying, does anyone else have this problem?

>> No.440   [Delete]   [Edit]
>cube instead of pyramid

Your game's heavily outdated.

The crashes might be happening because of a faulty installation of the Japanese 2000 RTP thing.

>> No.441   [Delete]   [Edit]

Strange, i thought it was the newer version....Well, I'll try to find the file I downloaded again and see....

>> No.450   [Delete]   [Edit]

If this is the version I remember correctly, then the problem with the green pyramid (cube in your case) was the BG not being able to open. But that may not be the case with your copy. I recommend just downloading a newer version.

Okay, so I was walking inside the Japanese temple world and in the largest room I met a green, bleeding version of those... strange masked umbrellas or whatever they are. It approached me at their normal speed and I really thought nothing of it, but then it killed me on contact. I didn't manage to take a screenshot of it but I found it character in the sprite sheet. I've tried to meet it again but haven't found it.
Has anyone here had this happen to them? Does anyone knows what triggers it or if it's completely random?

>> No.430   [Delete]   [Edit]

Fiddled around with RPG Maker, didn't see anything out of the ordinary... But I did find the way to the fire eye tree, yay~

Did you happen to kill anything however? otherwise it may just be a random event idk

Go to the smaller building with the eye and mouth path to the FUCKING CLOWNS, then you pass the door and just go right.

I'm kinda pissed it was so obvious OTL

>> No.443   [Delete]   [Edit]

>>430
I can't say for sure if I killed something or not. I was walking around without any real goal in mind. Mindless exploring at it's best.

I am the biggest n00b to prance his n00bhish ass along the street since Leroy Jenkins, but I have a n00bish question.
Can someone post some instructions to get this fucking game?
I tried it and it didn't work, so I downloaded the RPG Maker 2000 runtime package, and that doesn't work either so I redownloaded it and tried again and it doesn't work still.
Any help?

I don't think it's set when you sleep, since I walked in and out of the room and couple times after it happened and it happened again.

on a side note, The boy in that room always drops 50 yen when you chainsaw him and wake up.
