One of my theories is that Poniko is deathly afraid of the dark. She tried to tell Madotsuki that whenever she hit the lightswitch strange things would appear (Uboa) and things in her room would change (the furniture, etc), but Madotsuki didn't believe her, and instead tried to tell her it was her mind playing tricks on her. Poniko tries flipping the lightswitch on and off to show Madotsuki the warped things she sees as a result of her fear but Madotsuki can't see. That's why in her dream world, when Madotsuki turns the lights out, she has a small chance of seeing it like Poniko does.
Seeing how you theory doesn't involve Uboa impimping, and actually makes sense, I give your 10+ internets.Oh yeah, and I have proof, I posted it a while ago.

>>232Thanks! I saw your image earlier today. That was one of the things that helped me come up with this theory. :DIt would also explain why the lights always come back on as soon as Madotsuki leaves the house! Last edited 09/10/06(Tue)00:43.

Maybe Uboa is just a doll, stuffed toy, or pile of clothes that looks scary when light hits it a certain way.
I had always thought it was madotsuki's underlining fear of the dark. in other words everyone get's afraid of the dark at some point, but as you get older you get used to it but still at some point that nagging feeling of fear creeping up on you at random. poniko as that subconscious thought of it's nothing, but when she's gone...
what is this theory doing all the way down here, it needs to be up in the front page.Good theory, too.
