Big Red reminded me instantly of Kokopelli. Kokopelli represent's music and fertility. I connect this symbolism with Masada sensei. I think he raped her, or at least they had sexual relations, based on some other theories. The image of a Kokopelli eating her up might be a nod toward rape, or sexual coaxing she regrets giving into. Last edited 11/02/17(Thu)15:56.

Hm... there is already a theory about fertility goddesses...and Madotsuki does play a flute...Though if I read correctly, the lore was that Kokopelli GAVE babies to women that he carried.I'm very interested in a Kokopelli theory though, and ... say, look at this image. It's an image of Kokopelli and a female consort named Kokopelmana as depicted by the Hopi. They sure look familiar... Last edited 11/02/13(Sun)10:23.

Thanks for clearing that up. Hmm, he looks familiar there too. I don't find the image of Kokopelmana familiar. I wonder about the whole idea of there being a story behind this all, a bit, and if the weird images in the game are only meant to seem tell-tale, but are really just supposed to weird the player out, and make them wonder about it, on purpose. IF these things really are related to Kokopelli, it could just mean that the author might have googled 'native american gods' to find some weird looking creatures for inspiration. It seems like it is pretty intentional, though. Last edited 11/02/14(Mon)17:31.

>>2442Hm, come to think of it, Neon parrot and KALIMBA do look a lot like these depictions of Kokopelli and Kokopelmana, but with that nose/proboscis we could say even the Toriningen look like them.

Kokopelmana resembles the one type of Toriningen, but I don't know if that would be a stretch or not, to lump them in here... I'm gonna look around and think some more. Maybe there are context clues near some Toriningen, too.. -spies on-
