I want to start

See this chipset I uploaded? it's for the world which is represented on the Nexus by a star and a crescent.

I played that world and I noticed the two props of a king and queen but I haven't found the castle (or maybe it isn't there) and I found out that as of YN 0.091b2 you can find the rainbow there.

There are a number of other props similar to the King and Queen, but they are fallen over, props for rocks and trees can be found too.

The music in this world slows down and speeds up in a cycle.

What do you think this means?

I think the two king and queen props represent Urotsuki and a boy she knew and possibly liked, and this particular dream world represented their "secret world" or something. And after a time the boy either went away or left Urotsuki but in general, absent.

and the fallen-over props represent that this world has fallen into disarray since then.

I think that the fact that the other props that resemble people are fallen over and that the only two props standing up are the king and queen ones... Maybe she's hoping he'll come back, whoever he was/is? Unlike all the other people those fallen props represent?

what do you think?

I think Uro's bi-polar

I think 2ch is bipolar.

I think I said something about how it was like she believed she was a princess and blah blah other little girl bullshit Then her dreams go SMASH and the fact that the world seems abandoned/in disarray(sp?) It was like "none of this shit is real..."

I hope that makes sense.... Also holy fuck a castle

I'm going to go with the simple theory of sexual confusion on this one.

Since she can go behind both the princess and the price cutouts, could signify parts of her wanting to be both.
The music could represent her mind's processes, speeding up when she thinks she knows what she wants, slowing down due to confusion. The song is named "Hi" by the way, but I have yet to come up with a good way the songs title might factor into this theory.
The fallen over props could be representations of people who it was hard to be around due to her confusion.
The rainbow effect could represent ideas of homosexuality, especially since it helps her find things with it's power.

If you think about it for a second, it might make more sense. Think about this: if you replaced Urotsuki with a male, would much really change? The psychology of her dreams leads me to beleive that masculinity and femininity are almost balanced in her mind.

The seeing as the castle isn't yet in the game, I won't make any speculations about it till it is.

Whichever prop you choose, you're still going to have one empty. And yes, while it wouldn't matter if Urotsuki was a boy instead gameplay-wise, but as far as we, the players, are concerned it does matter.

I find that the Rainbow effect helps reveal things. I found a room that had black walls and eyes on the floor, I used Rainbow and hey presto! there's a door on the wall!

So it could also be possible that Urotsuki abandoned this fantasy world herself after the Rainbow showed her how shallow it was.

About the "if Uro was a boy," I didn't mean game-play wise, I meant the evaluation-of-circumstances-that-occur-in-her-dreams-relating-to-her-gender-wise.

Bump.

Don't the effects count as part of her dreams and thus their psychological analysis? If Uro's a boy the Geisha and Twintails effects might not work too well and Rainbow and Fairy would have cruder meanings... or maybe I'm just saying that.

and oh, I found the portal to needle-world there. Maybe she gave up a child's fantasy for an adult, kinda masochistic one (note the mannequins with needles in their heads)?

I think that world is simply related to a theater play or something like that, and the warp to the nail world being there could have something to do with the woman who made their costumes being a freak or something like that.

Other interesting things involve the random diary you find on the library (http://uboachan.net/fg/res/2790.xhtml#4017) and how it warps you to a character that looks like the drawing you find in that diary, Urotsuki finding a younger version of herself in the underwater theme park after having her fun there, the fact that she chainsaws that guy in the hospital even if you don't have that effect... and so on.

I sincerely believe the chainsawning is an event error they never fixed, since he HAS an event for when you don't have the chainsaw equiped. It's like they simply forgot to make the "chainsaw switch" a condition for the killing event.

My opinion is that Uro's an artist. The wallpapers on her computer are all drawn by her, after she dreams about them (in theory). So she probably did theater classes or something?

About the king and the queen, maybe she strived to get the main role in the play, even if it meant to play the opposite sex role..

inb4 lesbianism

It makes sense. There's no explanation to the wallpapers except this. Since dreams are a very personal thing, I doubt anyone else would have drawn them.
Not that it bothers me, but we'd then have three artists in the fangames...

...That, or she has access to Pixiv.

Looking for images of yourself on Pixiv is a bit... what.

Am I the only one who thinks Uro's shirt looks a little... "butch"?

I was thinking about the little boy you see in blue-trees world. Like the place with the painting that teleports you and stuff.

Well about that boy whos sitting on the bench I think that he was a guy who was waiting for his parents. Though his parents died in a car-crash but he didn't know that.

He was very stubborn, he knew his parents would come back, so he sat there everyday, and Urotsuki passed him on her way to school or something. When she tried to tell him that his parents are dead, he wouldn't believe it. Urotsuki sat next to him, waiting for the bus everyday. They were good friends.

Made that up as I went on. I know it sucks.
