Quick question about Masada. I see a lot of art depicting him as freakishly tall. Why is this? He is only marginally taller than Madotsuki when they stand next to one another, and the bed she goes to sleep in (the only one there so I'm assuming it's his) is really no bigger than hers at home, if not smaller. Oh, I don't really think Kikiyama cared enough to have all sprites correspond in size and all that. Take a look at Shitai for example. He's a freaking midget compared to both Madotsuki and Masada.Someone long ago just thought that Masada is human and needs to be super bishie. It caught on unsurprisingly fast. I'd say it has more to do with his proportions than the physical height of his sprite
Madosuki is often seen as younger and Masada as 20+ so I guess child / young teen proportions vs. adult?
Oh, I dunno- Shitai looks like he'd rather have Masada's proportions to me, if he stood up- He'd be at least as tall as Madotsuki, that's for sure, albiet his head/limbs would be tiny. He'd look like Madotsuki if she was skinny.The proportion thing makes sense, though, because Shitai is also portrayed as tall and thin. Following that, though, shouldn't he be short and thin?Fanon hurts my brain.

I'd dismiss it as Mado bring commonly portrayed as a little girl, meaning Masada would be taller.
I think you may all be forgetting the fact that Madotsuki's chibi head in proportion to the rest of her body is ridiculous. Her head is bigger than her fucking torso. Due to the majority of fan art being in anime/manga instead of chibi style, it usually ends up with the fact that Mado is portayed as a child, whereas Masada is drawn as an adult. Fanart begets fanart, I guess. ://otaku rant
