What exactly is this board for...? Sorry, im new here :U
From what I'm gathering, Uboachan is trying to make a Yume Nikki fangame, and this is a board for music, designs and overall progress for the project.

Alright, I know I said I'd get to work on this earlier, however the monitor on my parents' PC died and the laptop I was intending to work with has been used as their PC. Anyway, I'm ever-so-slightly confused here. I know that stuff has been done over the past few months, however the "most recent version" of the game in /media/ is the 0.0.8 patch, which is dated August 2009... Has there been a more recent patch since then and if so, could someone put it on /media/ so I can start working in earnest?

I'm pretty sure Rainychan has posted the most recent version somewhere around the board, along with a test of his/her map (I dunno Rainy's gender lol), but I'm not sure if people are working on another version somewhere...

What do you guys thinking about maybe having Madotsuki somewhere in the hospital? The room she was in would be ridiculously difficult to access and would involve stting of tons of switches and things in dreams and what not but it'd just be kind of an easter egg. OR if your against the idea of having her alive but inches from death perhaps we could have a graveyard in the back of the hospital where when one of the graves is interacted with it shows that it's Madotsuki's. This grave would also sort of be hidden to make it more of a secret.
I like that idea, why make her dead though. She could be sleeping or standing in an unreachable room/place instead.

Reading over the posts here, I feel like the project is too controlled. People are trying to give every location purpose or make things coherent. It seems like that's too controlled for a good Yume Nikki tribute. It's not Silent Hill, people. Let go of coherency and let there be aspects of it with no purpose at all. Choose stuff that's there just to be there. Don't make it seem normal. Give it loads of points that would make players go "huh?!"Just my opinion though...

To that end, I've decided to leave the decision of the date, time, and possibly multiple meetings to you all. Please pick what would work best, as well as anything else you'd like to discuss. Also, if you'd like to become more involved in the project, please try not to miss it. If you can't make it on a specific day, don't be afraid to ask for a date that would work better for you.
