If somebody would come here and tell you he/she's going to commit suicide... would you believe him/her? Disregarding all the 4chan-kill-yourself shit.I mean, most people think that if somebody is going to commit suicide, he/she won't go on the web and post "OMG IM GONNA KILL MYSELF" everywhere. Well I don't. Imagine the hypothetical Touhoufag, Yume Nikki die-hard fan or anybody resembling the hikikomori stereotype, with no real life friends... As far as I know, these types of people tend to feel some kinda bond to certain communities 'outside real life'. Please, don't just go with sage or immediately close that topic, I wonder if anybody share my thoughts ;_;PS. No, I'm not that person lol

It wouldn't make a difference in a place like this. Anyone who believes the general internet cares about whether they live or die is delusional, and even if they weren't bluffing they would just come off as a troll or an attention whore. However, it would be much different with small communities of friends such as that of a private forum consisting of people who have known each other for a long period of time. Emotional bonds form between friends over time even if they've only communicated oti. I would be devastated if one of my long-time friends posted a suicide note.

Considering the kinds of people who visit /ot/, no this is a retarded place to reveal it, nobody is going to help.
Takes a lot of balls to kill yourself. So no, I probably wouldn't take it seriously unless it's someone I know very well.

Yes, you must collect all the elliptical orbs to kill yourself.
just read shii's article about anonymity and learn something about the internet. that'll give you the answer.
/Yume/ would be a better place iff it has something to do with your dreams.
It's not the best place but I think I'd believe them.
