I'll start the topic with some music.
Enjoy your game full of nearly nothing. It's good nearly nothing, though.
Only added my tileset to the nearly nothing so people can see it in action. It'd be nice if we had a repository. Then we could all work on the game at the same time, branching and merging when we see fit.

(we'll just increase this by one every time or else we'll be at 1.00 when we've just finished our first dream world)IN THIS VERSION:Fixed wheelchair bug -- you could keep using it to gain more speed.Added custom sfx for menus/walking.Added hospital room.TO DO BEFORE WE REACH v0.03:Add a debug room, just like Yume 2kki has - I might set this to the * button or somethingMake some ambient music for the places we have (Title, Hospital)Make animations for going to sleep and trying to leave the room (I'll look into how Yume Nikki handles this)

IN THIS VERSION:
TO DO BEFORE WE REACH v0.03:
wind bgm for some open area.
I don't know if either of these sounds are useful, but if they are, feel free to use them.
Software versioning in a nutshell:major . minor . buildIncrement the build version every time we post an update, increment the minor version every time we reach a milestone (e.g. finishing a dream nexus), increment the major once the game is released.Made a change log in the game folder so we can keep all the changes in one place for everyone to easily see.I'm making my updates into patches to conserve bandwidth. How to patch:Download nooodl's update and extract it.Download my update and extract it in the same folder you did for nooodl's.Changes:You can now get in and out of one of the hospital beds. You can teleport to the new debug room by pressing Numpad *.Effects no longer work in the real world (the debug room is considered a dream).Fixed some passability stuff in the hospital tileset.Moved around tiles in the hospital tileset to make room for new tiles.Modified hospital room slightly. You can now look into the lockers.Added rr-'s wind_.mp3 and supabass.mp3 to the hospital room and debug room respectively as a sound test.

How to patch:
Changes:
Loopable bass-with-oddly-altered-sine-wave.
I suggest we use patches for posting updates. The project may be small now and it won't make much of a difference yet but just consider that Yume Nikki is 57 MB. Later on if someone only adds 1 MB with 10 maps, what's the point of uploading another 50 MB and having people download all that?I know patches are a pain in the dick to do by hand so I've scripted a patcher and a patch maker to make it as simple and easy as possible. Read each readme for instructions and more information.Uboachan Suite - 0.4.0:http://www.anokorok.com/UboachanSuite-0.4.0.zip(Includes the patcher and patch maker)Source code:http://www.anokorok.com/UboachanSuite-0.4.0-src.zip Last edited 09/08/02(Sun)12:29.

Patch from 0.0.4 to 0.0.5:Added code for greying out items in the real world - they're still "Wheelchair_" for now, this will be changed in the full release. It's for programming purposes.Fixed wheelchair effect not speeding you up(The DEBUG counts as a dream world for now - the code for waking up/going to sleep is used here aswell)Yeah, the message at the start is still written by Anok. Pfft, we'll just put important things in changelogs like this from now on.Don't worry, 0.0.6 will have more visible changes. I hate to waste your time, but all this coding is actually important - too bad it doesn't seem to be that way.

Just a small programming update. I think we're ready to start adding the fun stuff. Don't forget about the meeting at 5pm -5GST.Changes:Fixed bug where you could get stuck in the debug room if you tried to warp there from it.Got rid of the intro message. See the change log or patch posts for updates.Added Anon's sine_bass to the dream world hospital room. You can now go to sleep and enter Kazenori's dreams.Renamed the maps, and extended the hospital by one room.Changed 25:ItemOnOff slightly, calls other events instead.Debug mode can be entered regardless if you're dreaming or not.Debug items start off disabled in real world now.Removed dreaming check from effect events, no longer necessary.Going to the debug room while you're in bed no longer possible (you went invisible before).I'm also working on a much better, easier to use patch maker. I've already hammered out the bugs out that blew up the last patch (0.0.6).

I know this is a pain in the ass, but can someone post the full version so far? I tried installing the updates, and failed.
My computer keeps on telling me that it cannot open the system2 file. : /How do I fix this?Edit: for the record I am using Windows Vista. I'm not sure if this will help or not. Last edited 09/09/01(Tue)03:55.

three tracks i think i got off of kn3ll's site or something like that. includes something we could use for the loudspeaker effect, a casino world concept, and another ambient track.
Bumping, and having trouble running this.Do I need a run-time package? Which version of rpgmaker is this?
