HEY HEY HEEEY /FG/!I've found an alternative to RPG maker that has a lot of the same features, but no roms needed to play the games. Not to mention it's free to use :DCheck it out here: http://www.engine001.com/gamemaker.htmI haven't played with it a lot yet, haven't had the time with school and whatnot; but from what I gather from messing with it is that it could hold massive potential for yume nikki fan games.The pic is a screenshot of the main layout, tilesets and maps to the left. As you can see, it's pretty similar to RPGmaker, which is awesome :DPost if you find out more about it, your experiences with it, whatevs. I just hope it's as good as it seems to be :)

Seems like a ok alternative i guess, although most ppl who make the games here already feel more comfortable with whatever program they are using at the moment. Also it's not that hard to make it so you don't need the RTP (i guess that's what you meant) to play RPG maker games (google it).
If you fuck around enough, you CAN get an RPG maker game to run without the runtime.
