I've written an engine. It works. Perfect imitation of Yume Nikki.
Alright then, that's amazing. Couple questions though: Could you tell us some more general qualities of the engine?Does it merely imitate Yume Nikki? Or does it provide the possibility of a no-constraints type of game like this?
>>5359>Or does it provide the possibility of a no-constraints type of game like this?Yes, as I have coded it myself.

Yes, as I have coded it myself.
>>5355There already is one of those. It's called RPG Maker 2003.

RPG Maker 2003 is not a Yume Nikki engine. It's a basic game design software application with plenty of limitations.
The OP is written in C++ or some shit.
Please release this as open source when finished. I've been contemplating porting this game to the NDS for a while, and if someone's already rewritten it in cpp or c, its already made that job a lot easier.
Make a YN fangame maker.
>>5372FFFFFF Seconded.
>>5372Yeah, put dreaming\flowing/etc on the conveyor :\
