I can't find where to download .flow. I tried downloading it from loda but when I try to run it it keeps giving me this message that says it can't open this certain file. Can someone please give me a WORKING download of .flow? (LATEST VERSION PLEASE)

You might need the uh.. ... whatever rpg maker .flow was made in. 2000 or 2003 or something. but yeah, I think you need that and unicode stuff.

You need Japanese runtime packages for rpgmaker2000 and a RPGmaker 2000 executable. You also -must- play this game with applocale running Japanese language settings. It also helps immensely to unpack any file with applocale so everything stays in its native language.

download RPGMaker 2000 japanese RTP, install it with Applocale. There's a working 0.7 .flow on /media/ that has the RPG_RT needed for .flow.

  1. Download this: http://loda.jp/yume2kki/?id=101
  2. Install it with Applocale set to Japanese
  3. HAPPINESS

That says Yume 2kki... I needed .flow.

Japanese runtime packages, huh... where would I get that from?

And one last question. If I set applocale to Japanese, wouldn't it mess up the font in Yume Nikki english version?

.flow is still uploaded there.

And you can google 2000_RTP(I think?) or find a link if you lurk in Uploads.

That's the same uploader for 2kki, .flow and Nisshi.
The japanese RTP has been posted at least twice in the 2kki thread, and there's a 2kki download in /media/ that has both english and japanese RTP. Also you have no idea of how many different english RTPs are around >_>

Finally, no, it won't mess up anything. Applocale changes the locale of only the programs you choose, and YN is originally japanese too. I have the habit of opening RPGMaker in japanese locale so I can load the fangames' projects, and it's never messed up YN for me; it was actually nice, because the names of the maps in the RPGMaker project were readable and not a bunch of messed up characters. xD

Oh, also, if ANYTHING is zipped or rar'd, from the RTP to the game, open your WinRAR with applocale, as it will impede stuff from being extracted with the wrong name (or not extracted at all, like it does sometimes). Install the RTP with applocale too, because it normally stops at 44% if it's not run with japanese locale.

Here, I think this is 2000's RTP. I believe it's the one you need for .flow.
Else, there's the 2003 one: http://tkool.jp/rtp/2003rtp.exe
