The main character and her bedroom.

This message appears for a split second whenever you go to sleep.

The main menu, along with what is, I assume, the main character's name.

The very YN-like outside "world" when you're awake.

And when asleep. Our hero seems to have a panicking fear of factories or pollution; I found myself in what appeared to be a smog-infested city with strange black ghosts slowly staggering around. A hole in the road led me to a black world filled with industrial smoking chimneys.

The nexus. Nothing much to say. I'll show where the doors lead to and will post some more discovery results tommorrow.

The first door leads to a snow world. The music is a strange mash of twinking bells that are extremely cliche for snow worlds, but the way they are arranged sounds pityful and depressing.

The second door leads to a desert world. Not shown in this screenshot are pillars, always arranged in lines of three. The music here is typical sahara-like music.

This is the third star. It leads into a strange level with stars scattered about and little grey balls that move around. Those are not solid objects and you can walk through them. There are also some groups of stars stuck into the ground. You cannot walk through them. There are toriningen-tall women with stars for heads that walk about in here. They don't do anything as far as I've seen. The music is very soothing. Reminds me of the Star Hill from Paper Mario, as it looks like falling stars have crashed into the ground.

This is the last door and it leads in there. You see the dark world-like things on the ground? They're the only place you can walk. It's like the red maze in YN, but it's dark and extremely annoying to move around if you don't have a way to brighten the screen.

Last words for today: this game is much more reminiscing of YN than the two other JP sequels out there do. It has that feeling of unknown, which I like.

You can get a match effect in the snow world that lights up that dark maze. It's from an NPC that looks like the hat and scarf girl. It's the only effect I've found so far though.

I played until I got lost in a looping street world. Couldn't figure out how to get out, but I did find an entrance to a bloody version of it.

I was looking in RPG Maker 2003 at some maps. It appears that:

There is an entire school/church world that I have yet to see (it also includes the bathroom thing, which appears to be crying)

Sometimes outside of "Usotsuki"'s house, it will be raining

Some of the worlds seem to fit with unused nexus doors (The red door appears to lead to a rusty machine world)

Ive explored most of the game (at least, i think i have) and i like it. It's very similar to the original Yume Nikki but at the same time it feels fresh and new.

Also, clicking here will open up a door which leads to a room with all the effects for those who hadn't found out yet.

The furigana for 夢日誌 is ゆめにっし which the romaji for is Yume Nisshi so I feel we should call it that. Yeah, it does mean Dream Diary like Yume Nikki. It bugs me that her name is Urotsuki because that's the name of the girl in Yume 2kki as well. Oh well, looks good. May I ask where you got it from?

147.zip and 152.zip are what you need. 147.zip is the game and 152.zip is the update/patch (i believe?) so take those files and put them into the main game folder.

Yume 2kki. I had this game for awhile, now my controls don't work. While I was playing, my brother wanted to sync his Zune and do whatever with some music files ( I had the game minimized at this time). When I got back to playing, I noticed how I couldn't use the control pad anymore and the Z button stopped working. I can only open and close the menu. The only way out now is to exit to the main menu... It wont save so I hope you didnt find any new effects while you were there. So technically yes, you are fucked over if you touch that bed.
If you had instead gone to the shower room you could have ended up in a new world and shat a few brix....

Unfortunately, there isnt really much here but some nice music and a few NPCs that all look alike, goint into that building will lead you to Amoeba World, one of the new Nexus doors you unlock, but unfortunately again, there isnt much there and you cant go back to BG world from it.

I didnt expect to capture all the types of amoebas all at once... They dont do much... the world is also somewhat big, nothing that I found other than amoebas...

Another one of the new nexus doors, There are a bunch of faces and eyes painted on the walls and there are mirrors that display a picture of Uso with her face blacked out.. You can shatter them if you dont want to look at yourself on them too...
Just found out the mirrors reconstruct after you switch effects if you break them...

With flow you mean that red room with the spike? if you walk enough in the white room, the color cheme will invert and all black will turn into white and viceversa. While in that world, if you do the same path to get to the mado uro room , you'll get to that red room instead. Nothing to do there though xD

Plus if you can also change System types! Eye, Hand, and Rose I think...
One thing I will say is you will be pulling you HARE out in the new maze... Dohoho~

Ok, for some reason, every time I try to extract the game and its patch, a LOT of files are turned into folders and the game won't run. Like, I find tons of empty folders in the chipsets with the names of what the chipsets should be. I use IzArc and I've never had this happen before. And I tried to take out the folders and do everything I could to replace the missing files, but the game will not run at all.

Can one of you upload your version + patch or something? Or does anyone even have an explanation for this?
