What I was thinking was to go for a mask-base then paper-mache the crap out of it until I had an appropriate-beak-like fixture on the front.

Well, here's the mask!

I need to add a darker skin-colour to it, but I'm afraid of making it too orange. Well, it's always good to experiment.

I know I need to clip the wig's hair (I know it's kinda ratty I'm salvaging an old one) but other than that, I think it's okay.

What about you?

I found the perfect shirt/dress for the red Toriningen except the sleeves are 3/4 inch.

I don't think it'll matter that much, but once again...

If you can find a white plague doctor mask, I'd suggest buying that. The one I bought was gold, and you can still tell under some parts where the paint is kind thin ;;

We're getting a group together for an upcoming con, actually. We did have another Toriningen, but she dropped out. As far as other characters go, we'll have a Monoe, a Madotsuki, and an Uboa. :3 And my other friend wants to cosplay a Kyukyu-kun gijinka (she's obsessed with wigs, and absolutely JUMPED at the chance to style a multicolored one), but she's not going to have him done by the con we're planning for.
