Dear Uboachan,

I'm going to do Monoko cosplay. Any ideas what to do with that.. thing on her shirt? Would simply painting it look too cheap?

Tips for painting skin white are also very welcome.

Awesome, I'm going to cosplay Monoko too!
With the thing on her shirt I'm planning to use a shirt like that bigger than the ones I usually wear and like fold it and sew it so they are something like permanent folds... I don't know if I explained myself right, my english is very poor.
For the white skin I will try using white foundation creme-basis and use very white powder to fix it~
Post photos when you're done!

Taco, is that you? Pianoholic here!

So, for my dear Monoko cosplayers, I personally suggest to make a hole in the middle of a very big shirt, adjust and sew.

Not taco.. Yumm Taco. O w O
Thats what I meant by twisting it, I sewed it in a funny twisted like way. xD;

Oh, sorry. The way you write is very similar to a friend of mine who is also going to cosplay Monoko, and I call her "Taco"
May you forgive my dumbness

Anyway.. going to do Masada cosplay, however I'm going to have the same issue most people might have..

the eyes.

I was considering getting a white mask.. like zentai mask, then just drawing the crazy eyes on. Think that should work out? Considering his skin is paper white that shouldn't be a problem. I'll just buy a black wig to put over the mask since I can't get my hair through.

Anyway I will be Masada-sensei at Kumoricon this year. My friend should be going as Modotsuki..I don't think anyone will recognize us. Don't really care though.

; ; cant cross my eyes since I'm already cross-eyed lmao

>>165

XD Yes it's gonna look silly (HOPEFULLY NOT <n<) but at the same time I don't wanna just be walking around looking like myself :[

>> No.538   [Delete]   [Edit]

if you're using a zentai, you should just glue on big googly eyes. you know, like the type you can find at the craft store.

this is the way i did it >>351
seeing something in that was hard but possible

I realized just a couple days ago that I can make my left eye go towards my nose and my right eye go up at the same time. Lulz.

Hey, is anyone going to Sakura-con? My friend and I will be Madotsuki and Poniko for part of the time, with various props, naturally including a stuffed Uboa. It would be awesome to see some other folks there.

Sounds excellent to me! I know it's rather early, but do you have an idea of which costumes you're making yet?

Wow, where is this wall. Did you happen to take a picture of it without someone standing in front?

Sorry, we don't have one! But if you're curious, it's kind of near the Subway inside the convention center. It was actually just a printed canvas thing, I think, and you probably wouldn't be able to tell what the pattern was from too far away.

I'm thinking of cosplaying Madotsuki and then I made two types of shirts on a website for custom clothing.

I wanted to hear from you about which of the two would be better. If all goes well, I post some pics of mine <3

Sorry about my bad english.

Hey /cos/
what would be the easiest, fastest, and/or cheapest way to make an Uboa cosplay? I was thinking of taking a white long sleeve shirt, drawing Uboa's face on it, and then cut a hole in a black long sleeved shirt the shape of Uboa. add black pants and a black ski mask and that's basically Uboa. Any other suggestions?

Dress up as the Spy from TF2 and wear a cardboard cut out of Uboa with the Uboa pic on it.

Not a bad idea.

My backup cosplay is Sven from Black Cat, I could use the suit and make a mask... Dunno, really.

This is the best I've come up with.

I'm just curious: even though it's not for awhile yet, is anyone going to be at Anime Detour (Bloomington, MN April 23-25)

I need to be prepared if any of you crazies are going to be there. -u-
