I'd recommend Jim Woodring's work right off the bat because I know of no one who makes entire hallucinatory worlds and stories in these worlds without dialogue like he does.
Rice Boy is a webcomic in the same vein except it has more dialogue and such. Still, it's a good read. Gunnerkrigg court is not surreal at all except for the parts that involve Zimmy (an enigmatic demonic girl who lives in a horror world and does not sleep). Still, it's atmosphere and feminine main characters might give it something slightly in common with the game

btw even if you hate superheros im going to reccomend grant morrison's work, especially the invisibles and doom patrol. because he is a chaos magician in real life and is inspired by hallucinagens. he is crazy and his ideas work his way into most of his work.
