I'm not really sure if this should go into /yn/ or /c/, so I'm sorry if it's misplaced.
It's just a thing I'd like to share with you guys.. I started writing this just after it had happened.
Okay, so me and a friend are exploring Yume Nikki a bit together, talking via Skype. My friend has found all the effects and I have only found about fifteen, and neither of us has seen Monoko or Monoe. So, we decided we would use a walkthrough to find them. And so we did that, and then we didn't know what to do afterwards, so we decided to just explore the white desert a bit.
And then I found this tunnel with only one entrance, and the way that led into it was short and then became kind of.. hand-shaped. I'm not good with explaining, but I hope you know what place I'm talking about.
Anyways, since we're talking on Skype and can't see eachother's screens, we figured it would be best to enter all doors and such together. So we enter it together, just to find that it doesn't lead to another room. We're a bit disappointed, and I just walk in and out a couple of times, and then I walk to the right to find something else to explo-
BUT HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT OH MY FUCKING GOD WHERE THE FUCK IS THAT GODDAMN X KEY X X X X!!!!
Yes, I paused right away. I am extremely easily frightened, and the music changed and became all.. I dunno, it kind of speeded up and it felt very stressful.
It's kind of embarrassing, but I only got a short glimpse of what actually caused this, and the memory has already started to fade (so uh, my description may not be entirely accurate).
From the right of the screen came a giant, white object, with huge (?) eyes and... It was kind of long, I think it reched from the top of the screen to the bottom, and it was.. I dunno, the shape was kind of odd.
I tried to describe it to my friend, and he made a quick doodle of what he thought I saw (pic!) and yes, it was something like that. Then he says the chance to see it is about 1/3600.. Is that really true?
I MEAN WHAT THE HELL I AM SCARED OUT OF MY GODDAMN PANTS. I may not be able to unpause Yume Nikki until I have company (which may be a very long time since the only friend I meet often is my boyfriend who went to France TODAY), and I hadn't saved after I found two or three effects so they will be lost if I quit the game.
And yes I am very much rambling right now but as I said, I am extremely easily frightened and that shit just gave me about a thousand heartattacks in less than one second.
