I drew some KyuKyu-kun.Hope you don't mind me posting here.Drawing people pole dancing is hard. The background is taken directly from the game, but edited slightly. To be honest, I can't decide whether KyuKyu-kun is male or female here. But I enjoy KyuKyu-kun and "his" squishiness.

KyuuKyuu is male, Kun is a Japanese suffix used on male names I think. But yeah it's not bad. The hands, left mostly, could be worked on. Other than that please do more, maybe try the Oekaki board for posting art, too.
>>2864Thank you so much for the reply!I know "-kun" refers to male, so I always picture KyuKyu-kun as male, but when I drew this I couldn't decide whether he would revert to KyuKyu"-chan" or not.
>>2865Kyuukyuu-kun could be a trap?Either way, this looks awesome. Great idea too

>>2864-kun is used for girls too, usually by teachers and such.kyukyukun is probably meant to be a male whatever he is, but it doesn't really matter. And Darkwater, your picture is really good! Along with the hands, the legs seem really short. But otherwise it is good.

>>2867>>2877I didn't expect to get such positive feedback! Thanks, guys. And yes, I definitely need to work on... er... proportion.>>2867That was one of my ideas. I have a thing for traps, or just feminine/androgynous boys in general.>>2864Honorifics are super confusing sometimes. I mostly just hear "-kun" for boys, though. I've heard "-chan" used with boys, but I didn't know that "-kun" could also be used for girls.

>>2877>a male whatever he isWell he is shaped like a giant phallus. Why do some people wonder about this shit?

Well he is shaped like a giant phallus. Why do some people wonder about this shit?
>>2879Err, well, I know I didn't actually see him as anything phallus-y until I came to Uboachan...so.Maybe that's why?

>>2879but what about the no-face from spirited away? do you see him as a big penis?is kyukyu-kun any different? should he be? can he be?>>2861If you are going for realism and not surrealism:when drawing people pole dancing or holding themselves up, think of what has to be done for them to hold themselves up. think of the way your arms' muscles have to be used to support your weight on the object. when pole dancing the dancer usually has his/her arms extending up, and are "hanging" on the pole. if not, they would at least be flexed or shown to be in strong, sturdy position. The hands would also require this quality to stay gripped on the pole. "grip"! strong word! (:very interesting concept. I like it a lot. Last edited 11/09/02(Fri)21:16.
