How do you recommend I make the mask?

The one that gives you the neon effect,right?

I've begun to call him Glowmask, gonna Japanesify that for no good reason and see if it catches on.

Romanisation: bibiddo fukumen. Literally Glowing Mask. I'll call him Fukumen (mask)to keep it short. Bibiddo can be his surname. Perhaps the surname of all the neon creatures?

I'm going to be basing the design very much on the fanart.

WHITE DOLL HAIR: To be dyed the glow-in-the-dark green.

WHITE CLOTH: For the robe. Dye it glow-in-the-dark purple (which honestly looks more dark-blue)

PAPER MACHE MASK: Because it's easier. Will be painted glow-in-the-dark red.

WIRE FRAME: Just as read: A wire skeleton of sorts inside the body to make it stand on it's feet properly.

No idea how to do the shoes.

Well,here is, lazy coloring is lazy.When I did the skecht of this I got inspired and made gijinkas for Mars and Uboa

go to a craft store and buy some doll shoes. you can use foam, glue or sculpy to give them some weight so it can stand up straight. :3

Going out to Michaels later; Buying the following:

DEFINITE LIST:
BLACK FELT: Will be used for the head and body
WHITE CLOTH: For the robe. Will be painted.(preferably spray paint)

POSSIBLE LIST:
Pretty much anything to help with a paper mache mold.
G-I-T-D SPRAYPAINT: If they have it. Will use green, red, blue, and violet. (if not, buy it online :P)
SHOES OF SOME SORT: Again, if they have them. Otherwise they'll be made from clay, which I already have. Painted violet, but not G-I-T-D.

ALREADY HAVE:
WHITE FELT: For the arms and eyes.

And that's it! It's gonna be a pretty simplistic build.

Will make a video of all steps in making it.

Guys, I need help making the mask.

How should I go about making it?

Body+Head stuffed and sewn together.

Tommorow? Robe and shoes.

My brother pointed out that a beak mask is similar to a Tengu mask.

New name suggestion is Tengu.

Tengu-sama's true form is coming along swimmingly. I'll post pics when I finish. (Tommorow or Sunday)

You could use clay to make the form, then use paper mache to actually make the mask. You could also make the mask using clay, and then attach it to the plushie form somehow. It might look more permanent.

Robe will be done tomorrow. All that's left after that is the shoes and the dreaded mask.

It's not a cosplay, BTW, it's a plushie. Delayed slightly because I need someone's assistance and they aren't here.

(Neon Parrot is fine.)

In the meanwhile, I'll make the hood for the robe, sew it on, paint the robe, and take pix w/o mask, eyes or shoes.

This is what I have so far. In this picture, I use too many fucking pins. Robe has yet to be colored. Everything you see is either felt, an old t-shirt, or PINS. None of the robe is sewn.

i call him either neon parrot or neon mask, it just sounds weird hearing him be called anything else now. personally i'm getting a bit fed up of the google translated japanese names. we seem to spend a lot of time discussing names lol. buuut that's just my opinion.
