does anyone explicitly feel anything in dreams?really really realisicaly?it's happening frequently to me, only last night i felt that i was being intamate with a girl. you may think it's awsome, and it would be if it wouldn't be a friend that a can't have, shit sucks.but i digress, has anyone frequently felt stuff in dreams it's quite strange for me, i've had this very diversely and frequently. no closer to lucid dreaming though.
I doesn't happen to me very often but just last night I found myself in the restaurant where I got my first job. I swear on my head it was as real as when I'm awake. I remember thinking "What am I doing? This makes no sense at all. Oh well it's not like I'm dreaming this." And continued in my dream. Made me rage when I woke up and realized I wasn't awake.Yet, I can't help but to think what if the reality is the same principal as a dream. It kind of scares me to think that yet can't rule out the possibility that life itself, is a dream.
Rarely does yours truly ever feel things in her dream. But I think there was one occasion, when I swore I fell on my bed after I woke up. Like I was floating, then I dropped! When I opened my eyes I was sort of bouncing. That's probly the best example.

The most realistic feelings are the ones that wake me up, probably because I can still feel them even after I wake up, allowing me to remember them much better. But in the very rare cases where I do remember a dream clearly, there's not one bit in those dreams that doesn't feel like I'm really there.

I can always feel pain in my dream and it usually wakes me up instantly.
Arousal is often something that carries over into "the real world," so to speak. I'm ashamed to know this from experience.
Well for me the only thing i feel is tripping. Heres the weird part. While i fall, i feel the fall when im awake! Like i was sleep walking and then tripped on my bed. I often get angry when i wake up do to tripping. It only seems yo happen during really good dreams
I'm always aware of thirst and stuffed noses in my dreams, if they pop up.
I have dreams every now and then of me having sex with boys, I don't feel anything though. I'm always so distant in my dreams.
Very yes. My brain sometimes creates the illusion that i'm not dreaming at all. So if i were to do something extremely stupid/wrong I get an impending sense of doom, and I feel as if there's no way out.
The only feeling I remember ever carrying over into the real world was a feeling of insane fear right after I got killed in my dream. That was only once, too. I was just kinda sitting in my bed, screaming mentally. XP
I was strangled in-dream once, feels bad man.
I always feel stuff when dreaming, until now I thought everyone did.Just last week I dreamt I had sex with that blond bitch from scrubs (I hate that show). Anyway first I was pounding that vagina, and then, to put it bluntly, I put in her ass. And the two holes felt completely different in my dream, and it all felt very real.

The most realistic for me were the ones with violence (usually fighting) and/or rape. The rape ones were peculiar, though. I remember most of them rather vividly. I'd never fight back so the feeling of hopelessness was grating. But I'd get this awful sexual idontevenknowwhat from them. Like I wanted more or some shit like that. I'm kinda fucked up.

>>461Oddly enough, one of my most vivid dream experiences involved rape.Only I was the rapist. And the victim was some random dude at a party, who I apparently only raped because I was pissed that he was having so much fun while I was miserable. That, and he was kind of hot.I woke up feeling like a monster.
I had a dream once where I was trying to escape from some people in a jungle. They threw a bunch of spears at me, and I freaked out so much when I got hit that I woke up; the pain took a good five seconds to fade.In general, my dreams contain about as much sensory stimuli as being awake.

>>475It's okay, rape is fine if it's girl-on-guy, or guy-on-guy.
>>487Lol. It was weird because he didn't even fight back, he just kind of lied there and took it, crying the entire time. I kind of wanted to apologize, but there's really nothing you can say to someone in that situation.I never see the same thing twice in my dreams, but if I ever see him again, I'm apologizing to him, just to see what happens.

I've been cut, stabbed, and bashed in my dreams. One time someone cut my ear off, and one time I was dropped into a paper shredder. You can feel the pain; it's real, but distant. A new "scene" of a dream might reset the pain experienced during the previous dream scene, but if you wake up right after your dream injury, sometimes the pain lasts a while in the real world.
>>497Only time I was wounded in a dream, I didn't feel any pain. Before sleeping I hit my head HARD on a shelf, bled, swelled up, and fuck-shit-ouch. In my dream the same thing happened, only it was a HUGE, fattened up gash, green and oozing pus. I remember staring at it in a mirror, touching it, poking it, totally fascinated. It felt greasy and cold.
oh god, dreaming is just like being awake for me ._. (except for the paranormal things that occur)two nights ago, i was dreaming i had this weird phobia of anything shaped like a circle.. o.oanytime i would look at one, i would start becoming paralyzed or just so numb that i wouldn't be able to look anywhere else D:so i went outside at one point, and i looked at the sun.. a HUGE, bright circle~.. my body started twisting up to the point where it was hard to breath.. weird stuff.and as i woke up, i found myself to be breathing heavily for a few seconds :c

>>184its off topic, but where did you get this image from? i would like to know the artist if i could
i had a dream where i was playing paintball for some reason and when i got hit it hurt like it was real and i woke up with pain in those spots and i woke up when i dodged one cause i moved in real life if it makes sense! haha
I once had a dream where this guy was chasing me around my house trying to rape me, I actually felt that tingle through your body when your afraid. At the end he cut off one of my arms and that's when I woke up. Last edited 10/08/09(Mon)14:38.
