N00b-ish question time!Since this game updates fairly frequently, how does one update their version to the newest one without losing the progress they've already made? I'm not sure if you just do a copy/paste or something else, and I would rather wait to do it than do it now and possibly screw something up.

>without losing the progress they've already made?Seeing how the game gives you a warning when you try to load an older save, I prefer starting from scratch after every update.

Seeing how the game gives you a warning when you try to load an older save, I prefer starting from scratch after every update.
The programming doesn't function that way, unfortunately. Additionally, they're often removing or replacing effects with other ones that weren't present in previous versions, so even if you could load your inventory of effects, some might be missing or glitched.
Most of the time you can just copy the save with little problems. However you should start fresh every few updates.
>>477>>479>>480Thanks for the info! Kinda sucks that we have to ditch our progress to get the newest updates, but it seems that it can't be helped. :\
