Uhh. I'm very new to Yume 2kki. Went through the trouble of installing Virtual Machine for the first time to run it. I have a few questions about it.a) Is there a list of controls for this game?b) Is there an english patch anywhere?c) Is it possible to enjoy and experience and understand the game without the translation? I downloaded the newest version.Thank you, any help very much appreciated. ^^

A) Not written out anywhere. It's pretty simple, though. Z is interact with stuff, X opens your menu, and the arrow keys move you around. You access effects from your menu and also wake up from your menu. Waking up is the second option, I believe.B) There is, but it's pretty out of date. 0.91c, I recall? I'm not entirely sure.C) Yeah, I'd say so.. Digging through your effects can be a pain, navigating Uro's computer is a bit weird, and you won't be able to read the books in the library area, but these are small losses. The rest of the game is good enough that these things don't really matter so much.Hope I was able to help!

>>2756Hey thanks!! That helped a lot. I'm really enjoying playing through this game. (I finally figured out how to play it on a mac, after like a year or more after I played Yume Nikki!)
>>2761Say, could you tell me how you managed to get it to run on a Mac? Like with detailed steps and all? I've got a friend who's really interested in playing the fangames (she played Yume Nikki when she had a PC for a brief time). We haven't been able to figure out how to get it to work. Much obliged!

>>2763http://www.virtualbox.org/I didn't really know what I was doing. I just installed virtual box. (Instructions should be on the site.) I ran the setup virtual machine wizard, and used an old Windows XP boot disk I had lying around. I think you can download boot disk .ISOs, and use a program to mount them if you don't have a CD yourself. I followed the instructions on this subboard on that sticky. I just googled for the programs (the links are dead) and found them pretty easily. It actually isn't complicated.
