Thought you guys might like this... And if not that, perhaps it will make you fill up with nostalgia.ANYWAY! THe company that makes a game has done a great number of point-and-click adventures, and this was my favorite when I was little. Basically it's Yume Nikki for 5 year olds. You explore surreal dream worlds and collect items. It's insanely amazing for some reason. It's on the PC and there's one version on the Wii. Now... discuss?
I found it with my CheeriosFuck year
Oh my gosh yeah, Pajama Sam is the best. The first game is so great, it's like the whole game is building up to some confrontation with "Darkness"and you go get all your superhero stuff that was stolen by a bunch of pretentious treesand you make friends with a minecart and a boatand you have to solve tons of puzzles to go through a treehouse belonging to "Darkness"and then you go through a pile of a million keys and unlock the lastand then you find Darknessand oh SHIT DARKNESS IS A MOTHERFUCKING BEING MADE OF FUCKING SHADOWand then you become friends with him over a tic-tac-toe knockoff based around snacks, because he is lonely:3

I've played lots of Humongous Inc. games but Pajama Sam was definitely my favorite. I even refused to uninstall it for several years after I played it for the first time.
Holy shit I remember this game
Oh my god I haven't seen this game in DECADES!Pajama Sam was one of my favorite children's point-and-click adventures, and prolly the only point-and-click games I ever played. This one however will ALWAYS be my favorite.
Sadly, I've only played Putt-Putt and Freddi Fish games, I never got to play Pajama Sam....cries

Has anyone ever collected all of the socks?
This thread reminded me of how much I used to love this game, so I ripped the soundtrack for you guys. It's a little staticky, but that's exactly how it is in the game files.http://www.mediafire.com/?bo38o7zl5d3dqy6Happy Halloween or something. I'm working on ripping some other Humongous Entertainment soundtracks too, if anyone wants those. Last edited 10/11/01(Mon)17:36.

I love you. D8 That soundtrack is fuckin' AMAZING.And. Yeah. Collecting all socks is actually pretty easy. The hardest thing to remember is to get the sock in your room before you go through your closet door. Nothing special happens at all though.

>>1056Glad you like it. I'm surprised by just how much effort HE put into their games' music -- some of the Putt-Putt games had music by George "Fat Man" Sanger, who also scored titles like Wing Commander and Maniac Mansion. Also, I might as well share the world's only Pajama Sam fanfic, as written by a '90s elementary schooler:http://www.oocities.com/athens/aegean/2221/mystery/story5.htmlIt's got all kinds of gems, like>>The robot opened up his stomach. There was my signature-edition all-metal Pajama Man lunchbox! Emma took it, and we went to continue our search elsewhere. Later…we found an underground fortress. We didn’t go inside, because something covered the top of my view window that said:>>Warning: Aliens detected 3 meters ahead! Last edited 10/11/02(Tue)20:58.
