Hey thar Uboachan,I'm thinking of starting a "video games Yume Nikki players might like" thread.Can be regular video games, free indie games, whatever.Of course LSD: Dream Emulator should be part of the list.Also, here's a game called Die Anstalt, pic related. http://www.parapluesch.de/whiskystore/test.htmIn this game you're a psychiatrist for mentally unbalanced toys / stuffed animals that were mistreated by their previous owner. The point is to cure them of their illness by finding out what really happened in their past that gave them such trauma. It's usually cartoony and light-hearted, but what makes me think Yume Nikki players would like this game is that you can see their dreams and drug trips (lolwat) as a way to find out more about their condition and things have some pretty weird results.I don't even know, it's a strange game that's really fun to play. >>302I looked "Oyasumi" up. Apparently, it means "Good Night".Slightly creepier? I think yes.Still haven't played this, although I've been poking around for a while now.
>>538Oi, here's the chap that posted the recommendation for AoOFAD, and I've got to thank you.I immediatly went to download Au Sable, and... Wow. I didn't really think that AoOFAD could've been topped, but I was wrong. Au Sable has me... Intrigued. Maybe even more than AoOFAD.So, thank you!

No mention of Neftelia yet?It's pretty much in the same style of Yume Nikki, but a lot more reminiscent of LSD.

idk if Irisu Syndrome has ever been mentioned on this board before. http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=623495It's pretty chilling, and the music is nice. Only bad part is that it's short and kind of difficult to figure out.

http://www.deathball.net/notpron/Not Pron is an internet-based riddle game with some creepy atmosphere, but I wouldn't suggest it to people with little patience or little technical skills. I haven't played in years, but I still have a .txt with all of the level passwords up to 50, where I stopped. Getting to that point took me several months of laborious searching across the internet.Of course, the entire experience is ruined if you cheat. I know their built-in google client doesn't work anymore, so when you do searches just add a "-notpron" tag at the end to ensure you don't get any spoilers.

Eversion is adorable, in a weird Yume 2kki kind of way, especially level 4 and the end <3 Level 5 is a bit scary, but not really xD But the creator had to put up a disclaimer saying it wasn't for kids.Just google it, and click the first result. :3

If you enjoyed the atmosphere and overall feeling of Yume Nikki I'd recommend Arx Fatalis. It's got quite a... deserted feeling to it and has some pretty damn scary moments. Anybody who's played it will know what I mean when I say "that thing in the dwarven mines."

>>1845oh man, i've been wanting to play that game for ages now. ;A;
A long time ago (more than a year) I remember someone mentioned a game on the Wii that was based on dreams. But I can't remember the name.At that time it was about to be released in the US. All I remember is the game cover being blue in color with the faces of the characters on it too.Does anyone know the name of it?

Looming: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/541333It's a flash game about a guy exploring a deserted world and learning about the people that used to live there by finding artifacts and messages they left behind. The game's creator mentioned Yume Nikki as one of his inspirations for the game.
