I've seen a lot of Mado/Poniko cosplay, but are there any photos of people cosplaying Monoko/Monoe? Seems like it might be more effort to pull off, but it'd look neat.
I'd imagine that it's because (apart from Monoko's five-armed form) there isn't nearly as much to interest people in the Monochrome girls. I mean, it'd be nice if they were there with many other characters, but just alone there isn't that enough to base things off of. Of course, there is speculation, but not nearly as much or as commonly-accepted as Madotsuki or Masada's personality.I imagine it would also be because of the difficulty. You'd either have to have pale skin or some sort of geisha makeup, and Monoko's other form would probably be impossible to pull off satisfyingly.tl;dr Too hard, too little accepted theories as to what their personalities are like.

I've imagined it before, I think it's more of the fact you'd have to have pitch black hair, paint entire body white, ect. Difficult to pull off. I'd actually imagine the arms to be less of a problem. Also like to see the melting pupil pulled off well.
Yeah. I see how the arms could work easily. The biggest problem is the body color.I'd try it but I refuse to crossplay. XP Maybe a genderbent version?
I don't think It would be THAT hard to cosplay. I mean, you could get one of those white leotards and sew white socks and gloves on the sleeves and legs. THEN you might need Geisha make-up (Which isn't that hard to put on. I've done it before.) and a wig.
I'm going to cosplay her, dunno when. But I'll do it. Maybe I'll post photos
I'd almost think that it would have to be essential to have a wig for a Monoko cosplay. The way I see the head arm being easily done is that you cut a hole in the wig and have the prosthetic/fake arm sticking out through that with the edges being pinned/sewn to the wig/your actual hair. That way you could even do some effects involving where it would come out.As for the eyes, you would definitely need contacts, however I don't know how you could necessarily pull off the melting pupils unless you were godly with make upBut eh~
