It might seem a little complicated, but you will get used to it very fast. Also, I know you don't have your own computer at the moment, so if you can't install it because of that, you may have to ask another /fg/er for an alternative (I am simply telling you how I go about doing this stuff)
Open up any photo you take in this program, shrink it's size down to fit withint 640x640 (the games screen itself is 320 x 240), Image>convert to indexed (either use a pallet or an optomized pallet), and save as a PNG.
The work in this may be difficult, but making a game isn't some simple thing :<
To screen capture, find and press the Prnt Screen button on your keyboard. To only get a certain window, Alt+PrntScreen.
